Welcome to the Billing section of the Lake Erie Regional Health System website. Our goal in this section is to provide you with as much information as possible to guide you through the financial aspects related to your hospital encounter. We want you to be as comfortable as possible with the billing process and very satisfied with this part of your hospital experience.
We understand that the process to settle your account can be somewhat cumbersome and time consuming, but please be assured that we are here for any assistance you may require.
Accepted Insurances
Our currently accepted insurance carriers include Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Community Blue, Senior Blue, Community Care, Independent Health, Univera, Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial payors.
Financial Counselors
At Lake Erie Regional Health System, we provide Financial Counselors to assist you in obtaining the health care you may need, guide you to insurance resources if you are uninsured, arrange various payment options, or assist you in applying for our Financial Assistance Program.
Financial Assistance Program
The Financial Assistance Program may allow you to receive your care for a reduced fee or at no cost to you. The amount of financial assistance and/or eligibility for governmental sponsored health insurance is dependent on your family size and income level.
